  • Secure Future - Life and life assurance, 15 ancillary contracts, UFK, guaranteed payout at the end of the term. Contract for 10-25 years.
  • Protection Under Credit - Policy with assignment to bank, SU 10-300 thousand, fixed or declining, from 300 PLN/year.

Contribution and paperwork

Premiums in Warta start at PLN 42 per month (the „For You - Life” variant). At the conclusion of the contract there is a simplified health verification - you answer questions, often without a medical examination. Policies can be paid monthly, quarterly, semi-annually or annually.

(life insurance). At present, Warta is owned by Germany's Talanx Group (75.7%) and Japan's Meiji Yasuda (24.3%).

About the company

Warta Group has been operating in the Polish insurance market since 1920. It began with the Warta Reinsurance Society founded in Poznań. In 1931, the headquarters moved to Warsaw. During the communist era, Warta was a major insurer of shipping, air transport and foreign tourism.

In 1990, after the liberalization of the insurance market, Warta began offering insurance to individual customers. In 1995, it established Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń na Życie „Warta” S.A. (TUnŻ Warta), forming the full Warta Group.

In 2012, the new owners of Warta were the German group Talanx (through HDI International AG, 75.7% shares) and Japan's Meiji Yasuda Life Insurance Company (24.3%). The acquisition was made for €770 million. In 2021, the headquarters moved to the Warsaw Unit building at the Daszyńskiego Roundabout in Warsaw.
