Liability Insurance - Covers damage caused to third parties while performing activities of private life. Available in two variants of the sum assured: PLN 50,000 or PLN 100,000.

Dealing with damage

In the event of a loss covered by medical expenses insurance for foreigners or Polish citizens residing abroad, it should be reported as soon as possible to the insurer - Wiener TU S.A. through Polisarium Ltd.

Necessary information when applying

  • Date, time and location of the incident
  • Policy number
  • Personal data of the victim (date of birth, PESEL, passport or ID number)
  • Contact details of the victim
  • Description of the circumstances of the incident
  • Data of intervening services (police, ambulance)
  • Witnesses - their contact information
  • Type of injury sustained

Required documentation

  • Damage report form - signed and completed
  • Medical records - medical diagnosis, course of treatment, first aid given, causal relationship to the event
  • Receipts and proof of payment - if reimbursement of medical expenses is requested

The loss may be reported by the injured person, medical facility or other authorized person - in the case of specialized treatment, surgery or hospitalization, when an immediate decision by Wiener TU S.A. is required and the insured person cannot gather documentation on his/her own due to a medical condition.

Direct electronic correspondence between Wiener TU S.A. and the medical facility is possible. Non-cash settlement between Wiener TU S.A. and the health care provider is possible on the basis of the invoice, the diagnosis and the express instructions of the insured.
