The scope of benefits depends on the variant chosen (Basic, Extended, Comprehensive). Each of them guarantees unlimited access to basic health care and a broad catalog of tests and consultations. Below are the most important elements of protection.

  • Unlimited PCP visits: family physician, internist, pediatrician
  • Specialized consultation: Surgeon, ophthalmologist, neurologist, among others; in packages expanded to 19 specialties for adults
  • Diagnostics: a wide range of laboratory tests, X-ray, ultrasound (from basic to comprehensive), in higher variants also CT/MR of the head or full range
  • Outpatient treatments: nursing, general medicine, surgery, gynecology, ophthalmology, ENT
  • Vaccination and Prevention: Against influenza in each variant; in higher packages, additional vaccinations (including hepatitis A and B, MMR, TBE)
  • Additional benefits: depending on the variant, home visits, antenatal care, allergy tests, rehabilitation

Each variant differs in the number of specialists, the range of tests (from basic to comprehensive), the availability of endoscopy, CT/MR and additional benefits (home visits, pregnancy management, rehabilitation).

Variants and key differences

Basic: 6 specialists for adults (general surgeon, gynecologist, ENT, neurologist, ophthalmologist, urologist) and 5 for children (surgeon, gynecologist from age 16, ENT, neurologist, ophthalmologist). Tests: basic laboratory packages, X-ray and abdominal ultrasound. No Doppler ultrasound, endoscopy, CT/MR, angiography. Immunizations: influenza. Outpatient procedures: yes. Home visits, pregnancy management, rehabilitation: no.

Expanded: 12 specialists for adults (including allergist, diabetologist, nephrologist, proctologist, pulmonologist, rheumatologist), 5 specialists for children as in the basic option. Examinations: extended laboratory panels, X-ray and ultrasound extended; CT/MR of the head; endoscopies extended. Vaccinations: flu + tetanus anatoxin. Home visits, pregnancy, rehabilitation: no.

Comprehensive: 19 adult specialists (in addition, including dermatologist, endocrinologist, gastroenterologist, hematologist, cardiologist, oncologist, orthopedist) and 14 pediatric specialists (including allergist, dermatologist, gastroenterologist, cardiologist, nephrologist, orthopedist, pulmonologist, rheumatologist, urologist). Examinations: comprehensive laboratory panels, X-ray and comprehensive ultrasound, Doppler ultrasound, head angiography, full range of CT/MR. Vaccinations: influenza, tetanus anatoxin, hepatitis A and B, MMR (measles-mumps-rubella), TBE (tick-borne meningitis). In addition: pregnancy management, up to 4 home visits/year, rehabilitation (20 physical therapy treatments + 10 kinesitherapy/year).

Premiums as low as 99 PLN/month. (monthly payment). The final price depends on the selected variant and the scope of benefits in the policy. Under the coverage, benefits are provided on a cashless basis in the network of LUX MED facilities.
